Election of ICFA Board 2026–2028 announcements
Dear ICFA Members,
As the present board members’ mandate is until 2025, we are opening the election procedures now. Originally, the board election was supposed to be held at the General Conference, but due to the internal conditions, we have decided to extend the voting after the General Conference this time and work provisionally with the present members. We hope all members will understand the importance and participate in the process.
According to the statutes of the Committee, the Board is responsible for the work of the Committee and must meet in plenary session at least once every three years at the time of the General Conference. We must choose at least 5 members for the Board, including a (1) Chair, a (1) Secretary, and a (1) Treasurer. The number of Ordinary Board members shall be no more than twenty (20) members. There may be two Vice-Chairmen, in which case there shall be no more than eighteen other members.
Eligibility:
*ICOM members in good standing (paid the membership for 2025 and will pay for 2026)
*ICOM members registered ICFA as the main committee
If you are eligible for the conditions indicated, you are all invited to apply by completing the form (shared by the member’s email as a link and an attached PDF) with a brief CV. PDF applications should be sent to the Secretary, Christoph Lind, and the Chair, Kanae Aoki, before December 31, 2025. The list of candidates will be published by January 5. The voting period will take place subsequently, and the ballot counting will be conducted on January 19.
We hope you will be keen to submit your application. Please remember that all the members take part in the meetings on a voluntary basis.
